Women-Owned Candycopia Candy Collection
Enjoy this curated candy collection from some of our favorite women-owned candy companies! We donate 10% of each box sold to NewMoms, whose mission is to strengthen families by partnering with young moms as they progress towards housing stability, economic mobility, and family well-being.
Sweet Addiction Toffee: This was the first candy we decided to sell at Candycopia. It’s the best toffee we’ve ever had! Kim honors grandma’s recipe to the letter for a whole new generation of toffee lovers.
Dallas Caramels: These are the #1 selling item in our store. It is the softest, butteriest caramel we’ve ever tasted. Rain McDermott started her candy business in 2017 and named it to honor her hometown of Dallas, Texas.
Deux Cranes:Â Is an artisanal chocolate brand, handcrafted in Los Gatos by French-trained chocolatier Michiko Marron-Kibbey and designed by creative director Ayaka B. Ito as a nod to their Japanese heritage and the flavors of their youth.Â
Lily’s Chilies:Â These are a mix of spicy, sour, and sweet all in one candy. The gummies are tossed in a special blend of chili spices making your salivary glands work overtime! Lily previously worked as an accountant who made gummies as a hobby, until her pastime captured the imagination of local Californians, and now sour/spicy candy fans worldwide!
Issei Mochi Gummies: Began as a simple homemade snack that Mika Shino was making for her kids and friends, in search of a healthier snacking sweet treat.  She created a simple, pure, and natural snack – small bite-sized versions of the mochi desserts she grew up within Japan. The mango mochi are little burst of vacation in your mouth!Â
jcoco chocolate: We love the varieties of these mini chocolate bars. Jean Thompson’s mission was twofold: elevate the way people experience chocolate and turn an everyday indulgence into an opportunity to make a difference. Today, jcoco is a favorite among epicureans and has donated more than 3.5 million servings to organizations working to combat hunger.
Blackout Baking Co: Owner – Shana Taveras, not only makes some of the best marshmallows we have ever tasted, but we are lucky to call her a neighbor. Her Oak Park bakery is a staple for our family.Â
Katherine Anne Confections: A local Chicagoan started making caramels at the age of 10 on her family farm by using the freshest ingredients.  While she has grown to two locations and has added chocolate treats her motto still remains – if my grandma would not have used it in her recipes neither will we!Â
